I bought this molds and another set with animals' shape while ago and are very happy with them. I made mini Ice Cream Cakes for my kids and they came out nicely. It's very easy to make, push the cake out of mold and easy to clean. My only complain is it will take a while to make if you need for a party and takes some room to store them because of their shape.

I love these ice cream sandwich molds! The size is just right - not too big for my kids, but not tiny, either. They're easy to use and easy to clean. My favorite combo is brownies with vanilla ice cream. I make a family size brownie mix in a parchment lined 12 x 18 pan and the thickness is perfect. With the right kind of ice cream (I use Breyer's natural vanilla), you don't even have to let it sit out before you scoop it into the molds. We also love the Tovolo popsicle molds! Their products make summer treats fun and easy.

I've tried a few times to make ice cream sandwiches free form, meaning two round cookies and some ice cream pressed together. I would either break a cookie or lose my ice cream and I would always be a big, sticky mess at the end. I found these and while reluctant to spend money on a silly gadget, I went for them and I'm glad I did. They are easy to work with and make really pretty sandwiches that are a good size. Plus, I didn't have a single disaster in my entire batch of ice cream sandwiches. The ease of use and pretty sandwiches are attributed to the good design of these; the bottom snaps on securely and the presser piece is heavy, solid plastic that makes applying even pressure incredibly easy. Once the sandwich is made, the bottom pops off and it slides out.

My only caution to make sure you pick a cookie recipe that is soft, or slightly underbake your recipe otherwise it may turn into a rock in the freezer.

I like it. Its simple, and it does what it say's. The sanwhiches are sooooo cute. Wish it had better cookie reciepes from scratch in the little booklet though.

These molds are adorable but very messy to use. I attempted to make ice cream sandwiches for my gluten-free hubby and ended up with melted ice cream everywhere and only a couple of sandwiches to show for it. Perhaps there is a learning curve here, but ultimately, I'm not sure they were worth the hassle.

These are adorable and work very well, however I wish they were larger. They make pretty tiny ice cream sandwhiches.
